Choosing a suitable night vision sensor is key to ensure a good design of flight helmet and to ensure a flight task completion for pilots. The unique feature of the flight helmet also raises specific claims on night vision sensors integrated in the helmet. Based on flight helmet application analysis and on characteristics of objects to be observed, this paper discusses specifications for two kinds night vision sensors, "electronic bombardment hybrid image intensifier" and For flight helmet better application, the main technical requirements of night vision sensors are discussed and described, and direction to improving the existing domestic night vision sensor is put forward.
